Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) launched a new $1 billion dollar terminal that opens in May 2019. 20 airlines offer flights to 59 non-stop destinations in the US and seven international destinations, including Canada, The Dominican Republic, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, The United Kingdom and Germany. The airport is approximately 15 miles away from the Hyatt Regency.

It's easy to get to and from New Orleans using ground travel. Megabus, Greyhound and Amtrak offer travel from both coasts for discounted rates. This affordable method of travel is convenient and environment-friendly.

New Orleans offers cabs, shuttles, buses and ride-sharing options. Ridesharing via Uber or Lyft will be approximately $30, while a cab is approximately $36 for the first two passengers. The Airport Shuttle is available for $24 one-way ($44 round trip) and tickets can be purchased in advance or onsite. SPSP has negotiated a discounted rate of $20 each way if booked online in advance.

There are many options to get around the city. Many of the city’s most popular attractions can be reached via the Loyola-UPT Streetcar Line, which passes the Hyatt Regency every 20 minutes. The fee is $1.25 paid upon boarding. One-Day and 3-Day unlimited ride Jazzy Passes are also available for $3 and $9, respectively. For more information, please visit the hotel concierge when you arrive.

Parking is available at the Hyatt Regency for $40/day for standard vehicles. Guests not staying at the hotel may park for an hourly rate ($10 for 1st hour, $40 for 10-24 hours).
