Opening Reception

Come and help us kickoff the 2019 Annual Convention with the Opening Reception. Hors d ‘Oeuvres and a cash bar will be available. Meet up with colleagues and friends for some food and a drink. Have an opportunity to browse the posters in #SPSP2019's first poster session. *Drink tickets will be accepted.*

Awards Ceremony & Reception

Join us in honoring the 2018 SPSP and FPSP Award recipients. Selected by a panel of peers, winners are recognized for their contributions across eight categories. Celebrate with a reception immediately following the ceremony. *Drink tickets will be accepted.*

OMSI After Dark

This interactive museum includes several exhibits spanning various science areas. Hors D ’Oeuvres and a drink ticket are included with the price of the event ticket. A special students only section will be available for students to meet and network. Whether you want to crawl into an actual under-water submarine onsite, enjoy a planetarium show, network with new colleagues, connect with old friends, or just enjoy the museum--join us for OMSI After Dark

Hors d’oeuvres will also be served. This is a ticketed event. Tickets can be purchased in advance online, or at the SPSP Store in the Exhibit Hall of the Oregon Convention Center. *Drink tickets will be accepted.* Purchase your tickets here!

Non-Academic Employee Social Hour

LGBT & Ally Networking Reception

Are you a member or an ally of the LGBT community? Come to the LGBT & Ally Networking Reception, hosted by the GLBT Alliance in Social and Personality Psychology (GASP) to network with other attendees and discuss challenges, successes, and research surrounding topics of sexual orientation, gender, and identity in the field of social personality psychology. Light hors d’oeuvres will be provided and a cash bar will also be available. Meet new friends, catch up with old ones, or find a colleague to collaborate. *Drink tickets will be accepted.*

Diversity and Climate Committee Reception

Join the Diversity and Climate Committee for a reception to honor the Diversity Fund Graduate Travel Award winners and the Diversity Fund Undergraduate Registration Award winners. This reception brings together graduate and undergraduate students from underrepresented groups and senior social and personality psychologists whom they admire, and whose work has influenced their own intellectual development. If you identify as a member of an underrepresented group within the SPSP Convention, or your work focuses on research concerning these groups, join the DCC for drinks and light refreshments! The reception is open to all interested in attending. *Drink tickets will be accepted.*

Closing Reception

Saturday, February 9 – 6:45 – 8:00PM

The final poster session of the day on Saturday will have light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar included to allow attendees to meet, network and mingle one last time before heading home. *Drink tickets will be accepted.*
