The Attitudes & Social Influence Preconference features an exciting lineup of invited speakers whose work addresses issues of cognitive, affective, and motivational processes, implicit and explicit measures, and interventions designed to change people's evaluations and behavior. The program will also feature brief data blitz talks and a poster session.
Save $25 when you register for both convention and preconference together!
Registration for preconferences is limited and fills quickly.
Registration is now open and will not reopen once this preconference fills.
We invite current graduate students or recent PhDs (degree received in 2015 or later) to submit proposals for a 5-10 minute "data blitz" oral presentation or a poster presentation at the pre-conference. These presentations should address topics in the field of attitudes, persuasion, and social influence, broadly defined. To be considered, please submit a 150-word abstract that outlines specific goals of the research, methods used, a summary of results, and a conclusion through the Attitudes & Social Influence Pre-conference website. Please be sure to specify if you would like your submission to be considered for a data blitz or poster. If you choose data blitz, your submission will automatically be considered for a poster if not accepted as a data blitz. Data must be collected prior to submission. The portal for data blitz and poster submissions will be open from September 1, 2018 through October 31, 2018 (please note the earlier submission window).
Submissions for this preconference are now closed.
