The Emotion Preconference is for psychologists with an interest in affective science. It has been held prior to the Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) conference since 2006. Over the past five years, each Emotion Preconference has registered 150-200 attendees. This year's program features a series of distinguished speakers, including a keynote address by Dr. Wendy Berry Mendes. The program will also include flash talks and a poster session.
